CREDLE WELDING POSITIONER

KNOWLEDGE BASE [KB]

A cradle welding positioner is a type of welding positioning equipment designed to hold, rotate, and tilt workpieces, making it easier for welders or automated systems to access all sides of a part during welding operations. The "cradle" design refers to how the workpiece is mounted—typically in a U-shaped frame or rollers that cradle cylindrical or irregular-shaped objects, allowing them to rotate smoothly.
1. Rotational Movement: Allows 360-degree rotation of the workpiece on a horizontal or vertical axis.
2. Weight Capacity: Available in a wide range, up to 100 MT
3. Variable Speed Control: Rotation speed can often be adjusted for specific welds.
4. Foot or Hand Controls: Operator-friendly controls for easy operation.
5. Typical Applications: Pipe and Tank Welding, Pressure Vessel Fabrication & Heavy Equipment Manufacturing
6. Advantages: Improves weld quality by maintaining ideal positions, reduces operator fatigue and improves safety, increases productivity and consistency, supports automation and repeatability in mass production.
