Irizar Heavy Industries Inc., based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, designs, manufactures, and supplies anti-drift turning rolls to support, position, and rotate tanks, pressure vessels, pipes, and other cylindrical workpieces during welding, fabrication, assembly, and inspection. Anti-Drift Turning Rolls, also known as Anti-Creep Rotators, Anti-Drift Rotators, Anti-Drift Welding Rolls, and Anti-Drift Rollerbeds, are designed to minimize longitudinal displacement [forward or backward] of the workpiece during rotation on welding rollers. This common phenomenon is often called the "screw effect".

Our Anti-Drift Turning Rolls available in stock:  100 | 800 | 1200 | 2500 MT.
Available upon request: 150 250 | 400 | 600 | 1000 | 1600 | 2,000 MT.

Available in Stock: The world's largest 2,500 MT capacity anti-drift welding rotator.

Workpiece Drift Factors

1. The workpiece rotates a substantial number of turns while welding a large thickness.
2. Irregular workpiece (out of roundness).
3. An unbalanced center of gravity.
4. Non-cylindrical geometries of the workpiece, such as a cone.
5. An uneven shop floor.
6. Misalignment of the roller beds.
7. A combination of these factors.

The Anti-Drift Turning Rolls ensure a longitudinal vessel accuracy displacement of ± 3.0 mm. This level of precision is achieved through a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and a Sensor Automatic Anti-Drift Controller.
