Irizar Heavy Industries Inc. designs and manufactures a complete range of Welding Rotators & Turning Rolls for the fabrication, welding, assembly, and positioning of tanks, pressure vessels, pipes, and other cylindrical workpieces. Our product range includes Conventional Welding Rotators, Self-Aligning Rotators, Anti-Drift Turning Rolls, Track Welding Rotators, Roller Beds, Fit-Up Rollers, and Pipe Rotators, allowing us to provide the appropriate solution for a wide variety of fabrication applications. With the largest selections of welding rotators available from stock, Irizar offers capacities from 3 MT up to 2,500 MT, with additional configurations and custom solutions available to meet specific project requirements. Equipment is stocked at our Canadian facility and available for fast delivery throughout Canada, the USA, and worldwide.
Conventional Welding Rotators
Conventional Welding Rotators feature a simple and robust design with manually adjustable wheel spacing. The roller assemblies are repositioned and secured using nuts and bolts to accommodate different workpiece diameters, making them a practical and cost-effective solution where diameter changes are not frequent.
Our tank turning rolls are available from stock in capacities ranging from 3 MT to 2,500 MT.
Including: 3 | 5 | 10 | 20 | 40 | 60 | 80 | 100 | 150 | 250 | 400 | 600 | 800 | 1,200 | 2,500 MT
Additional capacities available upon request: 1,000 | 1,600 | 2,000 MT
Self- Aligning Welding Rotators
Self-Aligning Welding Rotators automatically adjust to the diameter of the workpiece without manually repositioning the roller assemblies. Their multi-wheel design provides better load distribution and significantly reduces setup time when working with vessels of different diameters.
Our self-aligning tank-turning rolls are available in stock in capacities ranging from 5 MT to 500 MT.
Including: 5 | 10 | 20 | 40 | 60 | 80 | 100 | 150 | 250 | 500 MT
Fit-Up Rollers
Fit-Up Rollers are specifically designed for the assembly and alignment of individual shell courses when fabricating tanks, pressure vessels, pipes, and wind towers. Hydraulic adjustment allows the shells to be accurately positioned for tack welding before the completed section is transferred to the welding station.
Available in Stock:
FUR 40, 40 MT Capacity
Used FUR 100, 100 MT Capacity: PU Wheels, Diameter Range: up to 5 m
Capacities available upon request: FUR 80 | FUR 150 | FUR 250 | FUR 350 | FUR 2,000 MT
Irizar designed and built a complete Wind Tower fabrication line featuring a 2,000 MT-capacity Fit-Up Roller.
Anti-Drift Turning Rolls
Anti-Drift Turning Rolls are designed to minimize longitudinal movement of the workpiece during rotation, commonly known as the screw effect. A PLC-controlled sensor system continuously corrects the vessel position, maintaining longitudinal accuracy within approximately ±3 mm.
Our Anti-Drift Turning Rolls available in stock: 100 | 800 | 1200 | 2500 MT.
Available upon request: 150 | 250 | 400 | 600 | 1000 | 1600 | 2,000 MT.
Available in Stock: The world's largest 2,500 MT capacity anti-drift welding rotator.
Track Welding Rotators
Track Welding Rotators are essential for constructing vessels with thin stainless steel or aluminum walls. They are commonly found in brewing, dairy, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries. The vessels are placed on a track covered with heavy-duty rubber, which prevents surface indentations from occurring due to contact with the roller’s wheels. Some customers have reported successfully using our rollers for welding vessels with a diameter of 5.0 m and a wall thickness of 2.5 mm.
Available in Stock: TWR 5 and TWR 20
Roller Beds
Roller Beds provide continuous or extended support along the length of the workpiece and are primarily designed for the fit-up and assembly of large tanks and cylindrical structures. They can be configured with powered and idler roller sections, manual or motorized width adjustment, and steel or polyurethane-covered rollers.
Capacity: Custom designed according to workpiece weight, diameter, and length.
Pipe Rotators
Pipe Rotators are compact welding rotators designed specifically for smaller-diameter pipes and cylindrical workpieces. Their compact construction, variable-speed rotation, and available foot control make them well suited for pipe fabrication, production welding, and shop applications.
Our Pipe Rotators are available in capacities of 1 MT, 3 MT, and 5 MT
Including: PR 1 | PR 3 | PR 5
Idler Pipe Stands
Idler Pipe Stands provide adjustable support for pipes and cylindrical workpieces during welding, fit-up, fabrication, and material handling. Their height-adjustable roller design allows the workpiece to rotate freely while providing additional support alongside welding rotators or other fabrication equipment.
Our Pipe Rotators are available in capacities of 2 MT, 4 MT, and 8 MT
Including: IPS-2 MT | IPS-4 MT| IPS-8 MT
Chain Beam Rotators
The Chain/Sling Rotator(CBR) is designed to rotate structural steel components through 360° about their longitudinal axis. Typical applications include H-beams, I-beams, box beams, steel box sections, columns, steel pipes, frames, welded structures, and fabricated assemblies during cutting, welding, fitting, inspection, and assembly operations. The CBR is designed to rotate workpieces whose centers of gravity are close to the axis of rotation, ensuring stable and controlled rotation.
Rotator Models: CBR 5 MT, CBR 10 MT, CBR 20 MT
